AJV Field Trip 2014: Museong Pambata
The second stop for AJV field trip 2014 is at Museong Pambata which is along Roxas Blvd., Manila. Museong Pambata houses a lot of visual treats for students and parents. It is well maintained and organized into several themes such as Kalikasan, Old Manila, Career Options, Pamilihang Bayan, My Body Works, Karapatan Hall and Global Village. 2014 AJV Field Trip: Crocodile Farm
Here are some highlights from the Crocodile Farm experience: Photo taken from Crocodile Park Manila Facebook page Hornbill My personal favorite in the crocodile farm were the hornbill birds. The birds flew across the hall and actually caught their food in mid air. Hornbills normally live in natural cavities in trees or cliffs. They are omnivorous because they eat both fruits and small animals.
National Scholastic, Civic and Creative Challenge – Grade School Winners
The National Scholastic, Civic and Creative Challenge was held on January 29-31 at Hotel Dominique, Tagaytay City. We won 1st place in Poster Making, Grade 4 category and in Vocal Solo (Grade 1 and Grade 2 categories). We also won awards in Story Telling, Story Reading and Creative Dance categories.
National Scholastic, Civic and Creative Challenge – Preschool Winners
Young as they are, our preschoolers brought honor to AJV when they swept the awards in National Scholastic, Civic and Creative Challenge for Preschool Category. Victorians won in Creative Dance, Story Telling, Story Reading, Nursery Rhyme Recitation and Vocal Solo categories. Our very own Penelope charmed all the coaches, judges and parents when she sang “Tomorrow” during the awarding ceremony.
Festival of Talents – Division Level
The Festival of Talents, Division Level was held on January 16, 2014 at Unida Christian College, Imus. Our Victorians won 1st Place in Sabayang Pagbigkas, Creative Dance and Story Telling (5 year old category).
Metrobank Mathematics (MTAP) Challenge
On January 30 2014, Victorians competed with both public and private schools in the Division of Imus in the Metrobank Mathematics (MTAP) Challenge. We won 1st place in Grade 2 category and 2nd place in Grade 1 category. We once again proved that Victorians excel in the field of Mathematics.
Panlalawigang Science Mind Challenge Season 6
Victorians joined in Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 categories of the Panlalawigang Science Mind Challenge Season 6. Benedict Henjie Louie S. Bedra and Neo Gabriel L. Pantajo are top scorers in their respective categories. Congratulations, Victorians!
